NEW YORK (PIX11) — The No. 7 train between 34th Street-Hudson Yards and Queensboro Plaza will undergo maintenance this weekend, causing service disruptions, according to the MTA.
The disruption will affect subway service, countdown clocks, and real-time information. There will be no subway service between Manhattan and Queens from Saturday at 12:15 a.m. until Monday at 5 a.m., according to the MTA. Trains will run in Queens between Flushing-Main Street and Queensboro Plaza.
Free shuttle buses will run during that time. In Queens, the shuttle will provide service between Queensboro Plaza and Vernon Boulevard-Jackson Avenue. In Manhattan, the shuttle will run between Times Square-42nd Street and 34th Street-Hudson Yards.
Additionally, the Q train will run via the N line to and from Astoria-Ditmars Boulevard to provide another way for subway riders to go between Manhattan and Queens. The 42nd Street S shuttle will run overnight, and riders can also use the E, F, N, Q, or R trains, per the MTA.
