Alicia Keys paid tribute to New York City with her Met Gala 2022 dress.

The shimmery black-and-silver gown by Ralph Lauren featured a black cape, which was adorned with a glittering silhouette of the entire city skyline. On the red carpet at the Met Museum, assistants helped expose Keys's striking gown.

"🗽 FOREVER. #MetGala with @ralphlauren and @keyssoulcare," she captioned an Instagram post showcasing photos of her look.

The star wore her hair in a sleek long braid with black and silver hairpieces heightening the do. She finished the look with long silver earrings and glossy makeup.

Keys walked the carpet with husband Swizz Beatz, who wore a New York Yankees hat and varsity bomber jacket over his black-and-white tux, also by Ralph Lauren.

On Instagram, Keys shared a sweet video of her and Swizz Beatz seeing each other's New York–inspired Met Gala outfits for the first time. "My love! Come see this vibe," she says, calling the record producer to come into the room. "I love this," she says in the clip, grabbing her husband's varsity jacket before giving him a kiss.

"LIGHTS OUT! #MetGala we READY! One time for NYC!🗽Big s/o to the @ralphlauren team!💜," she captioned the post.
