Founded in 1992, the Manhattan Neighborhood Network is a non-profit organization that offers affordable media production, education, and distribution services to small shop creatives in the borough. Abbreviated as MNN, the organization will shutter its former West Side headquarters at 537 West 59th Street once the new facility is completed.

The new center will include a hub of production and post-production spaces including studios, control rooms, a green room, a hair and makeup room, set storage, editing spaces, classrooms, and a new screening room with a pre-function space for events.

“This new media facility will allow MNN to continue our legacy of inclusion and equity,” said MNN president and CEO Dan Coughlin. “MNN is excited to be investing in our mission, vision, and values, making sure that we provide high quality and affordable resources for media education, production, and distribution that is of the people, by the people, for the people.”

Construction is now underway and is expected to wrap up this fall.
