NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 17-year-old boy was arrested on Thursday for participating in a group, hate-crime attack on a 44-year-old man in Hell’s Kitchen last month.

The group of seven teenagers jumped the victim on 10th Avenue near West 44th Street while shouting anti-gay slurs around 11:30 p.m. on April 5, according to officials.

The group punched, kicked and stabbed the man before fleeing on foot.

The victim was treated at Mount Sinai West.

Police are withholding the identity of the 17-year-old who was arrested Thursday because he is a minor.

Law enforcement is still searching for the remaining suspects.
